These two dudes are brothers, both neutered at 3 months, both 8 years old. Lately Oscar is mounting Langley, biting his neck scruff and ..well...moving... in a ...well...sexual manner.
Mine do the same thing. I have 2 older neutered males and the one does it I think to show dominance. Ironically the one who is being bit is MUCH bigger than the other one.
I have 2 younger neutered males and they do it more in play.
I had a spayed female and they never bothered her so go figure.
Yep, yep and yep. My boys do the very same thing. At first I was shocked......OMG! What is wrong with my cats???? Then, over time, I adjusted and it seems this is what cats do. They, I don't think, care if it is a male or female they are mounting, as long as they can relieve the mating urge. And yes, again, my cats are spayed and neutered. Go figure!
They are deciding who the "boss" is...and who is the b**ch. My little cat did this to the big one all the time. Jumped on his back, bit him on the neck, and held it. What is funny, is that the big one, could have just swatted him away...but he just sat there, like a doofus. Both nuetered.
In neutered dogs and cats, iut's a dominance thing. One is showing the other that he is "boss."
