Gracie would never watch any tv at all . She had no interest & I am not sure whether she even could see it.

I do , though, see my new cat Ruby sometimes glancing at the television. I know that there are such things as cat DVDs. Has anyone ever used these? Do anyone's cats pay any attention to what's on the television? Can they actually see what is on the screen even?

I know of some people who have cats who watch TV, though none of mine ever have. One person actually bought a bird video for her cats and she says they watch it all the time.

My kitten seemed to have some interest when I would play a Mary Tyler Moore DVD, when the credits scrolled at the end, but only that.

I feed the birds on the windowsill, that's what I call Cat TV.

OH yea! I have the cat sitter DVDs.. Chester would slap the screen trying to catch the critters... Samantha would jump up on the entertainment center and try to get behind the TV to catch the critters... she just knew they were piled up back there.. I have pictures of them watching the cat sitter DVD and even video but can't find them right now..

One of ours, Mouse, sits on the arm of the loveseat and watches the morning news every day.

we think she likes the scrolling news thing at the bottom of the screen LOL

when we leave the house we leave the tv on - not on a specific channel, but on, nonetheless

Weasie was named, in part, for the nickname bestowed on his wife by George Jefferson on that classic '70s sitcom. I put my idiot box and VCR (does that date this or what) on the curb in 2005. But while there was television in the house, the cat couldn't've cared less what was on for the most part. The exception to this came whenever I'd be watching a rerun of..."The Jeffersons." Each time George hollered for or at his long-suffering spouse, her ears would perk up and she'd turn her head toward the TV set - but only briefly.

Cookie likes to watch hockey. She can follow the puck ... unlike half of the U.S. population.

Both of them are looking forward to the Puppy Bowl tomorrow with the kitty halftime show.

Oh, that is too funny about hockey. I believe it! Some of my cats love to play "hockey" themselves, and they are so fast with those paws, I just sit and stare in amazement! LOL
