I just belatedly read this in my local paper and am just sick over it! The suffering these poor cats endured! To think such an evil-hearted woman was working with animals as well as fostering them!

God I hate reading things like this. WTH is wrong with people? I have to wonder if this animal abuse was a pattern, or if she just 'snapped'. If it wasn't and isolated incident, then why was she allowed to foster? Nobody doing any home-checks ?

Having a bad weekend, and this isn't helping.

Okay, here's a more detailed version. She was "retaliating" because one of their dogs apparently drowned under her daughter's watch. I feel sorry for the daughter being so traumatized and having her beloved pets killed before her eyes. Putting myself in her place, I'm not sure I'd want anything to do with my mother again after that! And why should other pets have to die because one did?

That's even worse. Those poor cats suffered and died because this 'person' wanted to get back at her daughter. Unbelievable .
I hope they throw the book at her... literally.

not sure why stories like this are even posted. I won't read it either Cheryl and I'm no woos. I just know what I can handle and what I can't. It's bad enough knowing about dogs shot by neighbors and cops but I certainly don't need to read details of torture which I'm guessing this story had.

To all of you. You can make a difference and call the police in her town - find out who to talk to about making sure she gets the punishment she deserves. Check with FB animal advocate pages (Exposed is one, Animal Voices is another) to see if there are any petitions you can sign. I do whatever I can to make sure psycho's like her pay for their crimes.

You can call the place she works and ask them to remove her from their employ. There are things you can do....

This is a great suggestion. ^^^^^

One can get information to fulfill the suggestion above here:

Sandra Diane Glidewell's Record Lake County, FL - 12/23/2014

She is properly charged by the Lake County Sheriff, so they have done their job. Now it is up to the district attorney's office (they handle criminal cases), and the judges. Without a case number for your letters to be filed in the case file, I believe someone will have to call the Lake County District Attorney and get a case number.

I think a copy of the article sent to her neighbors might also protect other animals.

Yes, this is true. The case number will be needed. Thank you.

Excellent suggestion. Who knows what someone like her would do to their pets if they angered her in some way.
