How did your cat get their name ?

Her previous owner liked Norse mythology, named her after the goddess Freya. Our first cat was black we named him Panther.

We found an abandoned black kitten in an empty lot over a year ago. My 5 year old granddaughter suggested we name her Jingles, which we did. Can you guess what time of year it was?

When my granddaughter was three she couldn't quite get the name Prudence out for our rescued Tabby, so we all started calling her what granddaughter did: Prunes.

The two year old can't say Jingles and so Jing-Jing is an alternative name that is starting to stick.
