It is interesting how cats seem to react when one leaves. After Tucker died, one cat was very needy and the other one didn't seem to care he was gone. Try to keep your daily routine the same for your other cat. Cats crave routines.

Thanks. I need the hug. I am finding it difficult to concentrate on work today. I think my partner went a little overboard yesterday. He left the bedroom door open at night so our other cat, Donald, could sleep with us. He's not normally allowed to do that. I think you're right. It's good to keep the routine the same as much as possible.

So sorry to hear this sad news. There's been way too many posts like yours on the cat forum recently. My heart goes out to you and all the others who have lost precious kitties.
