Aw, my heart broke when I saw the heading. I'm so sorry Albert had to leave you. What a wonderful happy loving caring life you gave him in his last 2 1/12 years. That is the most important thing of all.

Thanks for letting us know. XX

I can't agree more nor say it better. If we can ALL do our part to comfort a dear pet then that really IS THE ONLY important thing that matters. They trust us w/ their lives. It is not a right but a privilege to care for any animal that is your pet.

Just got back from the vet, picking up Albert's remains.

Bittersweet, very bittersweet.

He's home now...for good. He finally found his forever home.

And he has taken his own place of honor with all our other furry babies who passed before him.

Again, we thank you all so very much for all of your kind words and thoughts as we guided Albert through his toughest journey.

I know how hard this is. But you're right as he will NEVER leave you again nor suffer again. May you find comfort knowing your precious baby Albert, is home with you and at peace.

I have my EOL all done, and that includes our/my last 2 pets, the 2 we still had when we moved away from our home of almost 30 years. Husband deceased now, the ashes of his/our dog are with him. Our/my last dog is in my space waiting for me. I bought space in a Columbarium prior to husbands passing, then put him and our dog together when he was put to rest. Opened up my space and placed our other dog in there to be there when I am laid to rest. Nobody will have to deal with any of it now.

Many other pets from our earlier lives are all buried on the property we lived in for almost 30 years. We had acreage.
