The kittens have food, but when I checked a while ago, Runt was chowing down on a crunchy beetle and Turtle found a tasty moth to eat.

There was an ad in our local paper. Someone was giving away a spayed, declawed Ragdoll. Article simply said, "Husband's not a cat person."

Ahh, that organic stuff sure tastes good!

Any chance the vet could give a deal and spay the two kittens along with mom? It might make them more adoptable or at least they could stay with mom and not have litters.

I haven't seen Turtle all day. Momma is still here, though. I was calling the cats and momma came running. So I fed her a little while ago.

Here's some pics:

Still haven't seen Turtle. Hopefully she shows up in the morning.

Runt has been wanting to play all day. She chases the strings on my pants and climbs up my leg, and meows and purrs constantly. She's very sweet.

Uh-oh--That doesn't sound good. Are there dogs, coyotes, or hawks around?

Not usually. We live in town. We do have armadillos occasionally, and rabbits and squirrels, but that's about it. But you know how kittens are. They get lost, or squeeze into tight spaces, or climb into cars. Hopefully she'll show up again. But I fear not.

The neighbors have big dogs, but they're pinned up pretty much 24/7.
