SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) — An animal rescue center in Sioux Falls, S.D., says an anonymous Yankton man is offering a $1,000 reward in the case of a cat found glued to Interstate 90 just across the border in Minnesota.

Second Chance Rescue Center Director Rosey Quinn says travelers found the cat on Dec. 18 and brought it to the center. She says the orange tabby had injuries to its feet and nose and was thin, and it died five days later despite the efforts of veterinarians to save it.

Default Unbelievable...

Sadly, I've met too many men, mostly, who happily state that they hate cats, that cats are "girly" pets, and yet that those men also love dogs. Many of them seem to like attack-trained pit bulls. It must have to do with a sad perception of their manhood size, I'd guess....

What a viciously distorted and pathological mentality. And then to resort to torturous murder.... if I was assured that there would be no legal consequences, or that I'd get a humanitarian medal, I have to tell you all that I'd drop some mangy humano-monster who would do such as thing as was noted here, in his tracks, where he stood, starting at his knees, with my .45 Auto.

Imagine the total terror that poor cat felt out there, with semi-trucks roaring over it. If some nutball trucker knew about the cat, he'd probably aim for it as well.

Horrifying, but sadly typical of the mindless brainless, arrogant "thinking" of many of our fellow men & women.

Sorry, kitty.

That's just horrible what happened to that cat. I hope that jerk is found and rots in jail.

It is just heartbreaking what some of these beautiful creatures have to endure by the hands of humans. I can only hope that the person that did this has to explaine it to his maker someday!

Default Divine Justice

For those of us here whose heart breaks when we hear or see an animal being abused, the only consolation I have is that WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND! Whoever did this to this precious cat, oh man, I would NOT wish to be in his/her shoes! That is the only way I can handle things like this, for I feel such unbelievable pain, and such anger towards a human who makes an innocent animal suffer.
