I joined and I receive a private message with the groups listed, they usually do it this way, because they do not want to give the people that start the groups any inkling that they are going to be reported.

I got a message telling me the link was broken so maybe Facebook ( I am not a member) took it down. The HSUS posted the stories about this in their e-newsletter. I suggest the names and addresses of the disgusting scum be made public so people can go and do the same torture to them.
A few weeks ago, right here in "Kitty-Data," someone posted a threat to poison a stray cat because it was "bothering" them. The thread was shut down pretty promptly. But it caused me to wonder what action had been taken beyond that. No one is completely anonymous online since their IP address can be tracked. Was any effort made to find out who'd openly stated they would pursue a cruel alternative to water? Or could nothing be done because nothing had actually happened?
Back in the days not too long ago when Myspace was THE place to be online, I once stumbled upon somebody's profile which included a picture of a cemetery. A cartoon gravestone had been Photoshop'd in which read, "YOUR KITTEN. Shouldn't of (sic) run your mouth." I reported it and it soon was removed. Here again, though, one has to wonder what was done to the offender - if anything. Freedom of speech can be a double-edged sword.

Thanks for the link! Checking it out tomorrow first thing.
