Did you know it's used at the vet school because the company that makes it SUPPORTS the school? Do some homework.

Many people will not accept that corn and other grains are NOT a part of their pet's diet. It's denial from what I can see. They like the *cheap price* and convenience of kibble. After it makes their pets sick they will continue to feed it because their vet will sell them more of it under a different name. There's money to be made by all by adding these cheap fillers to pet foods. Everyone benefits but the dog who develops diabetes, the cat with a blocked urethra or kidney failure........

Buy the correct food (even if more costly) for your pets now or pay the vet later. There's nothing for nothing in this world.

I had my 2 kitties eating some raw meat with their canned food. After awhile they would leave the raw behind in the bowl. I guess a mouse or bird with all it's organs tastes better than plain muscle meat. They'll only eat raw liver. So now that get raw liver in their canned food once or twice a week.

It's a "love lock." They're devoted to each other now.

I think the above needs to be said again and again and again.

Read the labels people. That is the easiest way to educate yourself.

Unfortunately all too many people believe cats need vegetables and grain in their diets. They don't know that cats are obligate carnivores. They don't know feed companies add them as cheap fillers insinuating cats need them. Protein is expensive, grains and veggies are cheap.

And then there's those people, and I know a few, who are too cheap to feed their cats correctly. Cheap kibble is also convenient for self free-feeding. One of these people actually told me she's have her cats put to sleep if they got sick because of what she's feeding them. I know this person can afford a good canned food.

And there are those too poor to buy anything but the cheap kibbles.
