Purina One Adult Formula. My vet approves, and I can buy it in virtually any store. I'm gradually adding more wet food though, ProPlan Senior Entrees, since he's now almost ten.

Default Wet

Canned and some raw. They like canned better. They love and thrive on PetsMart's canned SophistaCat. They get only about a TBSP of dry kibble a day as a treat. That would be Wellness or Nutro. They're fed three times a day. The last meal is more a treat than a meal. It may include raw liver or other meat or those packages of wet Nutro or SpecialKitty. I try to avoid all cat foods that contain grains and vegetables.

Dry - Blue Buffalo dry
Canned - Blue Buffalo, Wellness, Merrick Gourmet

His dry food bowl holds one cup, and it takes him about four days to get to the bottom of it, and he gets 1/4 of a can of cat food per day.

I feed my guy Halo's Spot Stew dry.

I've been meaning to pick up some cans of something for him, but I keep forgetting. My dog would probably snorf it down before he even got the chance to smell it, anyway. Haha

I just started our 2 cats on Royal Canin (Indoor Mature for sensitive teeth). I think this is the first 1 week period that there has been no
getting sick after eating. I am sold on this one.

My herd eats Origen dry food and Friskies canned food.

There are nine of them and they share four cans of Friskies in the morning, and four cans in the evening.

The Origen is always out in a self feeding dispenser.

Some of them are getting too fat and I suspect it’s because they can eat the Origen whenever they want. It’s an all natural meat and fish dry food with no grain, and they love it.

I would like to eliminate the Friskies because it’s mostly junk, but our Vet says the wet food is good for them because of the moisture content.

Maybe if I get a better quality canned food and a cheaper dry food it might balance out, but there is no way to limit their intake if I use the self feeder, but with nine cats I don’t know any other way to do it.

We combine RadCat raw food with canned food from Pet Guard, Precision, or Trader Joe's. They also like the dry Bench & Field's kibble that Trader Joe's sells.

Yes, my oldest cat has a problem with throwing up. It also helps with the stool production, my cats were going a lot, due to the fillers. I have tried almost every food out there until my vet suggested Royal. Hasn't thrown up since. We are using the baby dog then the large breed puppy for our Saint Bernard, since they have to have their protein watched it this is one of the foods that does that.
