Like Lance Armstrong, he is probably doing it to save face due to the evidence being strong regarding the allegations.

I guess this means the end of Elmo.

I suspect he should have stuck with legal adults instead of chasing young teens.

For some odd reason, I've always suspected him to show "Pedophile like" characteristics. This really doesn't come as a shock to me at all. Yet,millions of kid's who are active Elmo watchers won't like seeing re-runs of their favorite red monster.

My guess is they'll find someone to replace him. How about someone with a deeper voice. Elmo's testicles can finally drop and his voice change.

According to Sesame Workshop, there are other pupetteers trained to be Elmo. They also added that they have a lot of footage which hasn't been used yet, so I think Elmo is far from dead.

Now, about Kevin Clash. If it's true, then it's dreadful. He's a dad, I can't help but think of his daughter, and of course the victims.
But if it's all a lie, then it's also terrible, because his reputation will be forever tarnished even if he can prove none of this is true.
