I hate how they seem to focus too much on reality TV people , for me it shows that anyone can become famous for the finest thing possible.

I don't think my pet hates celebrities any more than she hates regular people.

I cannot stand how they are always complaining about being famous. Oh yeah? I have an idea: Why don't you quit your career and go work at a fast food place and see if that works better. I have only ever heard two celebrities express gratitude for fans and say they are always delighted when fans want their attention: Patti LaBelle and Sean Hayes (Jack from Will & Grace). Patti said something to the effect of if you don't want to talk to fans, keep your a** in the house then. That lady is a class act.

When they think that they're so important and everyone cares about their opinions. Especially their political opinions. (Although I think that stupid magazines and TV shows, like People and Entertainment Tonight, also do their part to encourage celebs to feel overly self-important too.) Their self-congratulatory awards ceremonies probably also add to the problem. I don't value a celebrity's opinion over anyone else's, unless it is related to roles they've played or something else related to their profession.

My pet hate about the celebrity culture is substance abuse.

My pet hate is they're already rich but they get more money thrown at
them for product endorsements. Very easy money usually, for doing very little work.

Extreme example is/was Tiger Woods ...he made more money from product
endorsements than his winning from golf.

I agree.

I dont like that they (seem) or are we brainwashed to thinking they are smarter than us, Im a highly intelligent middle age man, and I dont give a ratzz arse what Leonardo DiCaprio thinks about Global warming, or what Madonna has to say about Hillary Clinton, or Oprah tells us all what books to read, Im an adult and I can make my own choices.

they might have a different career than me, but that doesnt make them smarter.

Most annoying thing about celebs: 99% of them seem to be loud liberals
