How is this pornification of our young? They are not doing pornos that I know of. They are showing skin yes, you say its wrong? By who's standards are we to judge? At what age does it become ok to become a sex symbol? It was not long ago when fathers would marry off their 12 year old daughters to 30 year old men for a dowry. When did this practice become wrong? Im not saying Id marry off my teenage daughter to someone but I guess my question is who is the one to say what is right and wrong?

I don't know what age is acceptable for becoming a sex symbol, but growing that fast is kinda sad. Some personalities are more fragile than others.

Wow, you took the time to read through my almost 6,000 posts to formulate an opinion of me being rude? Im honored. But I am far from rude and my rep points are a valid indication of this.
There is nothing rude about what I said as its a fact that Hollywood will not and cannot sell a young "starlet" who is obviously overweight as being "sexy". Producers will not buy it, the viewing public who spend their 12.50 on movie tickets will not buy it. While this may upset you and some of the other women who posted about my remark here, unfortunately THIS IS HOW IT IS!!!

Well, I am about 2,200 behind you in posts, but not all that far behind you in reps, and yet I have frequently been accused of being rude by some who disagree with me.

if parents don't like Miley, stop letting your kids watch her TV show and CDs. stop buying the books and other merchandise. stop selling out the concerts and movies w/ your money. if you must pick a celeb to be a child's role model, it's not as if there's a shortage of proper ones

Spare me, she did not even dance on it! She looked like a normal teenager walking around and it was not slutty. She is very beautiful and I do not believe she is being skanky. Is she supposed to get up and sing with a long robe on? Teenagers would never listen to her. Do you not recall being a teenager? I grew up in the 80's and we dressed differently, but we wore mini skirts and tight jeans! We surely would never watch some goody goody singer. I think she is very talented and just doing what entertainers do. I thought she looked really cute and the dancers and show were very talented. I am not even a teenager!
