When Kendra made her tapes she was barely 18. She probably thought if she pulls a Paris Hilton/Kim Kardashian that will be her claim to fame. I think she is like most folks in Hollywood who have limited to no talent they are fame/spot light chasers and will do anything to be famous.
Hank knew about her lifestyle and it probably attracted him to her. Now that Kendra is the mother of his child I bet they both are having second thoughts about that much exposure. If the tape(s) are released I bet it is because they are both flat broke. Sadly, eventually it will be released.
Doesn't every star have a sex tape these days? I think it's mandatory. Kind of how sports figures marry models or rock stars marry porn stars or is it the other way around?
I don't follow NFL but her husband seems the sort of sweet shy type and I agree with the comment that marrying her may say a lot about him. He may be one of shy types that can't believe that a beautiful extrovert would be interested in him (despite his career) types.
I tend to have a pretty harsh view of all those that circle the porn industry but I sort of feel bad for her if she was that young and yet seems to be moving on to a different type of life. Shame to want to move forward and a mistake keep dragging you back. Not like she killed someone and not like everyone hasn't made mistakes.
If she doesn't want a sex tape out there then there are ways for her to go about it.
If the tape gets released, then it is because she wanted it out there.
I was watching Bret Michaels Behind The MUsic; I didn't remember he had a sex tape with Pam Anderson. Apparently something he did to stop the release helps other celebrities stop it too. So, yeah, if she doesn't want it out there; she has options.
I don't understand how companies can release stuff like this without a "release" from the people in it.
BTW, Kendra also had a show about her life; she was into drugs when she was really young.
[quote=citizenkane2;14065366]My puzzle is with Hank Basket. And NFL player who could have picked someone with less baggage. But maybe this tells us more about him than her.[/QUO
You've heard of opposites attracting? Hank is a deliberate, thoughtful, sincere guy--I am so impressed with his mature character--but Kendra is an ADHD gal who has high impulsivity and, frankly, is lots of fun, very insecure and unsure of herself in most ways. Hank is serious, controlled and almost overly-mature in some ways. Kendra....still is childlike in many ways.
They seem to really have bonded over little Hank, and you can't deny that they both appear to love him totally.
One of two things will happen: Hank or Kendra will either get tired of this relationship or they will bond together with raising their family. My guess would be--if nothing else, for financial reasons--that they will bond together.
Kendra's goal is to be a wife and mother I think. She's no mental giant, very insecure and, frankly, unstable. Hank is totally her opposite. I think she will stay: he's a prize of a human being. I think he will stay: she's adorable, cute, frisky, fun and brings joy and laughter to his life, plus, she is a devoted mother which would be very important to him.
Kendra stated--and got in trouble for saying it publicly--that she and Bridget did not have a sexual relationship with Hefner even tho that was the P.R. They were not sloppy seconds, but living in the house just to make Hefner look like a stud...and at 82, I think not unless you are totally out of it.
Hefner does not simply give these girls money and a home to live in. He had certain standards like they had to look at him adoringly when he was around and call him "honey." Sincere? Not. It's all for his image...come on, it's Hollywood, kids. And why not? For X number of dollars a month, I'd do it.
So, she made a sex tape? Big deal in Hollywood or even in Kansas. I've never been so stupid to make one, but it seems to be "the" fun thing among her age group. Hand was no virgin himself I'm sure. What's the big deal?
Now you are going to make Kendra sound like some street wh*re just cause she made a sex tape? Puh-lease!
The question is: what have YOU done in your life that you don't want folks to know about? Are we realllly back to "women are to be holy virgins, men can do what they want" mentality?
Didn't that die sometime ages ago? Or are we THAT far behind with equality still?

His tape is still out there on the net. At least that's what I heard.
As far as Kendra, she is still young and bound to make mistakes. Over all, she is probably a really nice person who truly loves Hank and he truly loves her. I won't say it will last forever....but for now they seem happy enough and love their child with all their heart.
I don't watch the show, but I like that she has always been honest and keeps it real. There is no fake stuff and I kinda like her for that.
