I've been getting "prank" calls from the same number for a month or more now. I don't answer the number and it goes to voicemail, which ends up being just dead air. I've reverse searched the number and it comes up as a Raleigh BellSouth number. It has a couple of names with an address attached to it on some of the sites I've searched. I've seen postings from other people on some of the sites saying they've actually heard someone on the other end of the line when they pick up but the person doesn't say anything or just mumbles something in the line. The phone calls are getting old and I'm getting tired of having to delete the voicemails. Is there a way to contact BellSouth/AT&T to try to get them to stop the calls or can I completely block the line from calling me? They're calling my cell if it makes any difference.

I have the Droid X. I installed Norton on it and found that one of the features is a call blocker. There may be other apps out there that do the same. If you have a smart phone (you didn't say) I would look for something like this.
And I have an Android phone also and will look for the Norton app. Thanks for the tip.
