They ripped off a large credit balance when I terminated their service. I guess Branson needed it more than me.

Wow !! Just because you had a situation that didn't please you, nobody should use Virgin Mobile !!

Maybe you didn't notice that prepaid carriers will not refund a credit balance if you terminate service. Did you read the Terms and Conditions of Service when you signed up? They did nothing improper. Try any prepaid carrier in the US and you will find the same policy.

Branson isn't involved in Virgin Mobile in the US. It's entirely owned by Sprint.

This is standard practice with all pay-as-you-go providers. None will refund an unused balance.

They refused to allow me to use the credit balance to pay my monthly bill and kept billing me monthly. Then wouldn't refund the balance

Again, try reading the contract How are they to blame because you can't/won't read it?

Did the terms you agree to say they would provide you a refund? That's an unusual agreement that you had.

They would not let me use the credit balance toward my bill and kept taking money out of my credit card. So I could not use it nor could I get a refund.

Did you even bother asking them to cancel your service when you decided to stop using their service ?? Did you even notice that the charges kept racking up on the credit card balance after you stopped using it ?? Sounds like a "your fault" issue.

When they changed plans I had a large credit balance. They kept billing my card despite that balance and I contacted them. They continued to Bill my card leaving my balance intact. Then I cancelled the service and they refused to return the balance.
