I need to get a new phone in a couple of months and I'm leaning toward another LG (but not ruling out other brands). My G2 has been a solid workhorse, my favorite brand of any of the many I've owned, and has given me no problems. It's just getting old and many of the new apps are no longer available for it. The problem is the sheer number of Android choices. Normally I love choices but now it's rather overwhelming with the cheap Chinese releases as well as the mid and low priced Android options. I'm looking for a phone that has:

1. removable battery

2. micro SD card slot

3. no phablets please

4. decent camera

5. under $350

6. must run on AT&T

7. no Windows tiles, if they even make those phones anymore. (I don't remember).

I don't want a "subsidized" phone from the cell phone company because they're not really subsidized, we're just paying the full price in installments. I'm planning on buying the phone outright. I don't do much with the phone, mostly text, make a couple calls a week, and web browse; no social media, selfies, videos, or anything else special, so heavy graphics capability is not needed. I would appreciate any help with narrowing down the list!

Do you have a newspaper in your town which also has online stuff for sale from private parties ?

Look for one you may like for sale.
Find out the brand and model, and do some research.
Is it a good one with lots of good reviews ?
Is it a real one, NOT a fake ?

Lots of people upgrade their toy as soon as a new version comes out !

There are excellent smartphones available in the market within your desired price range. Well, the choice made by you is also good.

Moto X Pure Edition.
For $350 that's your ONLY choice IMO. Great phone for that price...
