Worst customer service of any company I have ever dealt with. And I mean any not just cell companies. Thats my experience anyway.

I had Sprint about 5 years ago and that's why I left them. They have really started to turn it around and their all inclusive prices are better than others. The only ones currently under selling them on price are inferior companies.

I just signed on with sprint (and got a Palm Pixi which is awesome by the way) and I am pleased so far. Their 69.99 deal is excellent, I have had zero reception or data problems, the phone is fast, the internet on it is fast. I have no complaints. Went to a remote state park this weekend and had no reception issues there either. Also, their website is very good, you can look up your minutes, etc, with ease, and I got a teacher discount.

I have been with Sprint for 15 years BUT NO MORE!! Three years ago I noticed on my bill that I no longer had 1st min. free on incoming calls. When I called they said they didn't know how this happened but they couldn't find the code to restore it. Last year my phone would just randomly go into roam mode. I would call to get the charges taken care of, have my phone set to where the call would just drop if it started roaming . None of this worked. I live near Salt Lake. After HOURS of calls to sprint, I finally said I was done. I went over my monthly bill cycle by 3 days before porting my number elsewhere. They charged me $60 for that. I am a loyal customer. I expect service from those I do business with. Sprint doesn't care anymore.

When I had Sprint several years ago, the coverage was awful and calls to customer service about billing issues were routine.

I tried switching to them again a couple years ago. Coverage was still absolutely awful, but customer service seemed less incompetent for the brief time I had them.

That said, I may switch to them again when my contract is up. I'm currently with AT&T, which is basically unusable in Portland, San Francisco, or really anywhere that large amounts of people are. Having strong signal doesn't mean anything when their network is so overloaded that you can't place a call, send a text message, or browse the web.

Wow, sounds like you have had some pretty bad experiences and it is true that congestion in larger metros is an issue and definitely not limited to a single carrier per se. Are you an iPhone user with ATT?

Sprint isnt bad, it just works really well in certain areas. Thats not particularly reassuring though when you have a 'nationwide' plan with no roaming charges lol

Sprint is generally pretty good in low flat areas with little to no obstruction and distance. However, most folks I know that come from the midwest to an area like San Diego have pretty dismal service.

For now I'm staying with Sprint as nothing else out there can match what I have for pricing. 2 smarts 2 dumbs and unlimited everything for 150. The Galaxy is pretty sweet.

I've been with Sprint for years and love them. Their coverage in Las Vegas is pretty good, and their family plan pricing beats at&t and verizon hands down. I rarely need customer service, but the one billing incident (created by my actions) was reversed by them promptly.

Just got a Galaxy SIII, absolutely the phone to get regardless of your carrier right now.

Been with Sprint since 1998. The customer service used to suck but now is pretty good. Regardless, why do so many people need to call customer service?

The service is definitely hit-and-miss. Sprint is in the process of upgrading their service, however, so hold tight. It's still the best deal going. Unlimited data FTW.
