If you can make Hello Kitty Cupcakes, I'll pay you $9.00.

Also, I believe that not getting "sucked into buying other things" you don't need is called sticking to a list, AKA willpower.

Applebee's was an example....if you don't see that then this whole topic
is useless.

It is called sustainability.....perhaps this article will help.

If you meant it as an example, then you should have said so.

You were pointing out national chains: Applebee's and McDonald's.

I am replying that I do not only patronize national chains at the expense of local dining establishments.

For you to respond as you did is patronizing. I do realize what sustainability is.

But perhaps, just perhaps, there are a whole lot of folks out there who would like to help the local economy but simply cannot afford to do so if a national greedy-slave creating-white trash-redneck-loving-environment destroying monster like Wal Mart is cheaper.

There are many people who can make cupcakes with that decoration.
Some are at-home businesses perhaps you should look into that.

You are taking the factual answers to your question as a personal attack.
That is the farthest thing from the truth.

You seem to not understand what several have pointed out in this thread.

Oh, I do understand.

But maybe you don't understand what it's like to have next to no money.

I shop at Wal-Mart and Sams, not because I hate America and small business enterprise, but because if I didn't I would have less, and less money. I hate the monopolistic gigantic monster as much as the next like minded person, but many of us cannot afford much else.
