Good luck... LOL if you were in the Embassy Suites thats the hotel I am currenlty staying at(I saw they had Boeing stuff going on all day while I was in training)
Either way, 1 week down for me, 24 more weeks of training to go....
as for large number of people applying, one manager said during an orientation, that its "harder" to get into Boeing then Harvard(yes I know numbers are skewed, but more people apply, and even less people get accepted.

What job are you training for?? (If you don't mind me asking)
I see that the FAB Specilist B job I applied for, expired last Thursday. I am "still under consideration" for it..... I've had 2 assesment test and another online interview type thing. I'm not getting my hopes up, but just wondering if they are going to contact me for the Fab B job??
Well, good luck on your training!
Rob
Flight Readiness Tech B. Will be doing final ops check/work on the plane before it goes to customer. Going through school with a bunch of assembler Bs, and QAs
This is actually what I was logging in to post about but i guess I can follow this. I moved from MI to Mt. Pleasant for a job. My husband is a production supervisor in MI and needs a job to be able to move here. We thought Boeing would be a great choice but we aren't getting anywhere. We apply and have also done the assessment tests but then nothing seems to happen. Any advice?
How long has it been since finishing the assessment tests? I know from the time that Boeing starts considering someone's application to the time they contact them is at least 3 weeks, and sometimes over a month. It's a big bureaucracy.

Well, for me, thats good to know. Its been right at about 3 weeks or so since the tests.
The job posting expired on 11-11-10. I am "under consideration" still.... I guess.

Just curious. Whats the training schedule? Working 40 hours or doing OT? Do you train at the plant or you going to the community college. My husband recently interviewed and was wondering just in case. Thanks
Well, I recieved the call today! Will be flying in to interview in a couple weeks..... We'll see how it goes. Its for the assembly B job, not the fab job.
