I have a friend who's a lawyer who's said the job market in Chas is a bit tight for new grads -- but still you should be able to find a job. You may only need to stay in the position long enough to get your feet wet, since setting up your own practice may work out better for you in the long run.
Legal services have gotten as bad as the Medical Establishment has. I remember the days when Lawyers looked down on their colleagues for so much as having more than a single line listing in the yellow pages. Now they not only buy the back cover of the phone book but there is all the TV advertising to boot and of course along with all of that the cost of services has skyrocketed with not any better outcomes.
The same goes with doctors and clinics and ESPECIALLY prescription drugs. Remember the days when the Medical Profession and drug companies didn't advertise on TV or weren't allowed to?? Those were also the days when medical care and health insurance was AFFORDABLE even cheap. (Those were also the days BEFORE the government started to think it had to regulate everything back when we had something more along the lines of a FREE MARKET.)
It is just an observation since someone brought it up. I'm not trying to change the subject.
