LOL! I wasn't expecting a reply from OTC on this question.

Question - are most of the nail salons owned by Koreans or Vietnamese in SC?

Pinkies to Piggies or is it Piggies to Pinkies?....lol.

Such a cozy place to be. At the time they offered mini-cupcakes and candy, not sure if they still do. It is in the historical part of Summerville. It didn't have an overwhelming toxic smell like some of those other pedicure/manicure salons.

I highly recommend this place.

Why not, I am married. She goes to both of the places that I recommended.

Yes the orientals run most of the shops...

The spa is not a nail salon they do a really good job there, the wife is always happier when she comes back from there...

La paradise salon, my wife just got one last week. Its on the corner of Ladson, and Midland I believe.

I believe my wife was looking to set something up in historic summerville but she was doing it last minute, couldnt setup an appointment.

I thought you were speaking from first-hand experience, I didn't take you for a pedicure kinda guy! LOL

Oh. And my daughter informed me that it is considered politically incorrect to call them "orientals" when I used that term recently. She said you must call them "Asians". I said, "Now what on earth is offensive about Oriental?" She said, "I don't know. I just know they get all pissed off if you call them that."

I've been told that rugs are oriental and people are Asian....lol. That has always stuck with me.

I thought maybe the PC tables turned when reading this thread, guess not.

LOL! Well, I guess I must have been living in a box or something because no one ever told me that. May I ask how many years ago you were told that handy tip?
