MtP is expensive by most standards, West Ashley is more affordable and not as far from the beaches as Summerville or Moncks Corner which are both cheaper...

And yes I've noticed Mt. Pleasant is more expensive but i think we've found a place we like that has enough room for us and isn't too much more than we pay now. But I'd like opinions on them as I have not been able to get a hold of anyone in their office, lol. It's Wando East Townhomes. We've also been applying like mad to job ads on craigslist. Is there a better job search engine I should try for the area? Thanks everyone!!
