I am having a bday in early Jan and would like to celebrate with a cpl of friends. I have no idea what to do though!!! I want something fun and lively. I love BBQ, camping, hiking, the beach, nice dinners, carriage rides....... so things on both ends (casual and upscale). I would love some ideas from everyone on possible things to do and venues to do them in. Thanks in advance!!!
PLEASE HELP ME HAVE A GREAT BIRTHDAY IN THE LOWCOUNTRY!!!
If it is just a few of you, how about going to Wine and Design? You can bring alcohol and food and you paint a picture. They will show you how to paint the picture. Trust me, even if you have never lifted a paintbrush your picture will come out ok. A group of us went recently and I was surprised at how mine came out since I am not crafty or creative. It was a lot of fun.

I think you're at least a little crafty.....You're a woman after all....
The painting classes at Wine and Design are pretty fun. I've done one there and one at Charleston Party and Paint. You can get appetizers from somewhere and BYOB, then afterward you could go out somewhere if you wanted. Also if you "like" the pages on facebook you can get coupons sometimes, that's pretty cool too and makes it affordable for everyone.
