My husband and I are going on a fact finding trip to the Summerville area on Dec. 6 for 4 days. We need to see it and experience it 1st hand.

When I was searching I found that the Christmas Parade will be going on and would appreciate anyone giving me some more info. on this.

Can anyone give me a place for breakfast or lunch.. more of a home cooked meal rather than fast food. How is Eva's Resturant?

Default Here's an information resource

Hi TessaCT,
There are a multitude of events going on in the Charleston area at any point in time, given that one of its main industries is tourism.

VisitSummerville.com -- Events

Here's a website that describes all the events (yes, including the Christmas Parade) that happen in the Summerville area.

Hope this helps!

Eva's is amazing. Right out of the 50's.
Look in the back room when you pay; Miss. Eva is typically sitting in a rocker cutting up the beans.
I most certainly prefer the lunch over breakfast.

Pick from the right side of the menu.
Can't miss with the chicken.

Although; be forwarned.
Take your time ordering, and wait until the waitress stops writing & flips to the next page for the next person at the table.

Too Quick = Out of Towner; specifically a Northerner...

"The" Christmas Parade that I like is the Parade of Boats in the Harbor.
Saturday December 1st; starts at 5pm, but 6:30 is a better time if your on the waterfront downtown Charleston.
843 724-7305 for info
