You and I also agree on that. Heck ditch the wife and let's you and I go to CO Springs. I used to work for a defense company and had to go there a few times and I absolutely loved it....what a beautiful area. If not for family here, I'd probably move somewhere like that. I did go there one time in the winter for about a week and it snowed and even though it was gorgeous with Pikes Peak in the background, it was chilly to say the least.

Funny though because in the summers the people there would complain that they had to apply lotion so much because their skin would stay so dry because of no humidity. Heck I'd rather have no humidity and apply lotion than hot humidity where there is not much relief and skin is dripping sweat.

Tonight I had to go outside and it was like a sauna....still hot heavy damp air. Needless to say I didn't linger outside.

I sat on my screened porch and read the last few nights. Went to the beach and it was absolutely gorgeous. Love it!!!

I moved to Folly Beach from Boulder, CO and I remember at first thinking that I didn't see how anyone could live in this heat unless they lived on the beach. Now, 30 years later, it doesn't really faze me. It really didn't take me that long to acclimate and back then I worked outside most of the time.

Soulsea, I grew up in the SW suburbs of Philly and you're right, it's just as hot/humid up there as here. Probably more so if you're comparing it to somewhere near the beach down here.
