(Shhhh)....but ..if youre coming here from elsewhere in the southeast... or from the South in general...youll be welcome since youll help buttress the culture ...and no.. South Jersey just doesn't cut it.
And its mustard based sauce on the Q... and a BBQ is only pork .. the rest is just a cookout... and shrimp and grits is for breakfast .

Edit : I forgot... the red color in red velvet cake comes from the use of sugar beets... not red dye # 26.

Default Please don't move here

I can't say enough about how terrible of a place this is to live. Everyone who moves here will regret it.

Endless hillbillies in their "Redneck Commander" pickup trucks. Noisy ATV's everywhere. Morons with fireworks.

The food is terrible too. Mustard-based barbecue is awful. The beaches are dirty.

No one can drive. There are traffic jams every day.

The worst part? Half the state of Ohio has relocated to here, so it's just terrible.

Wanna bet that the vast number of these comments come from Yankee transplants themselves who ironically think that the door should have been shut behind them once they moved there?

My family visited both Charleston and Greenville in August of last year and we found far less mosquitoes than during a typical August anywhere in Wisconsin. Not sure if this is usual or not, or if we just weren't in the right locations down south. A few mosquitoes beats a swarm any day of the week for me!

Guilty as charged!

When I moved here in 2005 from Ohio, I didn't expect half the damned state to follow me!
