(Shhhh)....but ..if youre coming here from elsewhere in the southeast... or from the South in general...youll be welcome since youll help buttress the culture ...and no.. South Jersey just doesn't cut it.
And its mustard based sauce on the Q... and a BBQ is only pork .. the rest is just a cookout... and shrimp and grits is for breakfast .
Edit : I forgot... the red color in red velvet cake comes from the use of sugar beets... not red dye # 26.

My family visited both Charleston and Greenville in August of last year and we found far less mosquitoes than during a typical August anywhere in Wisconsin. Not sure if this is usual or not, or if we just weren't in the right locations down south. A few mosquitoes beats a swarm any day of the week for me!
