Qigong, Tai Chi and Fitness (Charleston: relocating to, health, classes)

Hi all,

Me and my wife are relocating to Charleston in the next couple of months. I'm Personal Trainer and Qigong Instructor. How is the fitness community in Charleston, are people active and do they look for personal training?

I've also noticed that there're not almost any Qigong or Tai Chi classes here. Do you think people will be interested in that?

But perhaps from the responses, it's not something many people are either familiar with or into. However, I've been doing it about 6 months now, and it's great. My cardiologist is a fan.


For the most part, I haven't seen a lot of the more "unique" kinds of health offerings like acupuncture, massage, Eastern Medicine/exercise, etc.

There is an incredible "holistic" care path here in Charleston. Once you relocate, you will locate them.
