I enjoyed the 'Best Coffee' thread, so I was wondering about a good Meatball Sub? Not really looking for a chain, but a Mom & Pop. Anything in the Summerville area?

I can't speak for their Meatball Sub because I haven't tried it yet, but their Cheese Steak Sub was good!

I agree that Phillys makes a great sub, although personally I like Firehouse best. I'm not a fan of meatball subs, but my kids eat them from Philly's and they really like them, and its my husband's favorite sandwich shop around. Be sure to try their potato salad with bacon, its wonderful!

I'm new to the area, & have only been here a few months. Where is the Firehouse?
Philly's I've been to on a previous visit a couple of years ago. Will check them out, as well.

I gave up on sub sandwiches when I moved to SC due to crappy sub rolls (bread), but will try one more place based on a recent recommendation. Jersey Mikes.
