We are planning a road trip to the closest beach (we are from KY) with our baby (1yr old) for a few days (last weekend in July)
I am trying to find places we could stay at, we prefer the hotel/condo/etc to be right no the beach (it's just so much easier with the baby)? any ideas which beach and what hotels are better (we are also on the budget so not looking for anything fancy either)

Please help me to narrow down my options with hotel and which beach to go to? All we are planning on doing is to lay on the beach and make sure our baby has fun (he loves water)! Basically a real BEACH TRIP Not interested in any other things to do (and if we decide to we can always drive somewhere to find things to do)

Thank you, I did find that on (googled) but was wandering if there are any others (it's pricier, but possibly I am just not aware of prices these days)
Are there other hotels right on the beach?

There is one on IOP(Isle of Palms) but I think that one may be even more.

We don't really have hotels on the Beach here except the ones mentioned. Myrtle Beach (about an hour and half up the road) has plenty.

I agree. Myrtle Beach will have more of what you are looking for.
