Ok, we just moved here from Pensacola, FL. Job relocated me here. But here is my question. Back along the gulf coast, we have tons of places to pull the boat up to and hang out on a beach. Is there any place like that here where boaters pull up to to hang out around here. We love the beach. But we love to go to a beach by boat even more. Is there anywhere in the harbor or in the intercoastal with a somewhat sandy beach to pull up to. I see a few spots that look like it's possible by using the overhead views from google. But I don't know if it's public property or not.

You can take your boat out to Morris Island - the tip of the island by the entrance to the harbor. When you come around Ft Sumter you'll see the boats pulled up. It's a choppy ride for our little boat but we go often.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I can't wait to get out in the boat and explore the area.
