The airport is looking to expand the apron between the terminal and the general aviation area. This will increase the airport's ability to park corporate and private aircraft.

It looks like the runway expansion into Coonskin is off the table for the time being. The airport is going to instead focus on modernizing the terminal. I think this is a wise move, and more of a need than the runway extension. The Save Coonskin folks are not out of the water yet, but maybe can breath a sigh of relief for a few years.
