Michael Jordan and the NBA's Charlotte Bobcats will announce a $250,000 donation Monday to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg school system to help fund middle-school athletics programs this academic year.
I knew he would do something positive for Charlotte.
He's a few weeks late. "All" (you know it's not really "all") of the high school athletes had to pay fees to participate in sports this year to pay for...middle school sports. Will parents get refunds? I paid almost $200.

Not sure if with his money it would have been enough to prevent the pay to play this year in middle and high schools. Article appeared to state that the $$ from Jordan is going to make up another deficit not covered by pay to play.

The guy gives 1/4 million of his own money, and people are still bitching about it?? Unbelieveable!!
