(Doesn't have to be 'Colavita' brand -- I just need the same shape)
Anyone ever find this? I'm willing to drive (I'm in Lincoln County, but have family all around greater Charlotte) - or order online and pay shipping (I have not found it online, but I allow that I might not be looking in the right place...)
The picture doesn't show up for me, so I don't know what shape you need, but the larger Harris Teeter stores carry a HUGE variety of pasta, including the Colavita brand.
edited to add: Oh, there's the picture! Yep, the HT in Dilworth had that type last week. I was looking for pappardelle, and noticed that. I had never heard of that shape.
Just from the photo, it looks like you could cook up some standard lasagna noodles, then just cut them in half lengthwise to make the same shape. That's a lot cheaper than special ordering from Colavita.

Nah...lasagne is much wider than mafalde. Lowes Foods carried Colavita brand pasta.
Yeh, I'd ask HT or Lowe's if they can get some in for you. Otherwise I'd use tagliatelle, seems the same but w/o ridges. Or get fresh lasagna & cut it -might be easier than boiling first. Lastly, ugh, I can't stand the same old shapes at the supermkts here. There's so many fun inexpensive ones out there by major brands like Barilla & DeCecoo & yet the supermarkets carry the same old stuff everywhere- just my opinion.
