Where can one get some good BBQ in Charlotte or within 15 minutes of the Charlotte area?? Fall off the Bone Ribs, Pulled Pork, Brisket, Hushpuppies, Slaw, baked beans, selections of sauces....you see where i'm coming from.

I'm not necessarily interested in Decor, or a chain like Sticky Fingers (which I'll admit isn't that bad) but i'm looking for BBQ that falls off the bone and makes NC Proud! I want to come back to NY afterwords and say I had the best BBQ..................here!

Any suggestions? Real Cue' Lovers only

Bill Spoons on South Blvd.

The Food Network recently profiled BBQ King on Wilkinson.

People also suggest Bubba's on Sunset Rd, and I need to try it out!

Bubba's is good.

I also like Lancaster's on Beattie's Ford Road, just north of Mt. Holly-Huntersville Rd.

Lot's o' good 'que, and really great salt-n-pepper catfish!

Bubba's on Sunset Road gets my vote too. Very good food, and the place has a lot of "character". It's easy to find also; right off the Sunset Road/I-77 exit.
