We went this weekend and it was packed at about 2:30 - a half hour prior to closing. My husband and I both enjoyed our meals and the service was good. Yes, a bit expensive but not that much more than other breakfast places in the area. We'll definitely go back!
I agree the pancakes seem a little outrageous, but omlettes with potatoes, fruit and a bread choice were about $8 - 9. At IHOP, they might be a dollar or two less. It's certainly not somewhere I'd go on a regular basis, but for a treat I didn't think it was too much.
I finally made it over there for lunch (car inspection nearby). Although I liked the food and the service was fast, the food itself was slightly warm only. Not a show stopper but kind of odd since total time from ordering to getting it was surprisingly short.
My friend owns that development as well as the one where Five Guys is located. He spends a lot of time researching any potential tenant for his projects. They went to Florida and checked it out personally. There is also a new restaraunt with a 1500 square foot rooftop deck that will be in the same complex.
In addition, a Publix is coming right down 521 off Doby Bridge.
Noticed this morning they are working on the rooftop deck for the new restaurant so it should be opening soon. Anyone know what kind of restaurant it will be?
