Saturday November 6th - Charity Wine and Beer Crawl in downtown Belmont.

Benefiting 17 charities including Hospice of Gaston County, Habitat for Humanity, Holy Angels, Red Cross of Gaston County, Gaston County Women Shelter.

Tickets $25/$30 day of event

Tasting At Restaurants: 4:00pm – 6:30pm
Annual Charlotte Blues Society Competition: 3:00pm – 8:30pm
Block Party On Kenwood St., Belmont, NC: 8:30pm – 11:00pm

$3 admission for 15 & older, 14 & under free

November 5 & 6 the annual Hog Happnin' in Shelby

Location: Cleveland County Fairgrounds in Shelby

Free admission Friday evening, $2 admission Saturday, but if meal tickets for Saturday are purchased in advance the admission is waived.

This is a BBQ cookoff sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbeque Society. Funds raised go to various Cleveland County charities. Other activities include a corn hole tournament & a truck & tractor pull.

This Friday, November 5th is the Karaoke event you cannot miss: The Beef O’Brady’s YouTube Karaoke Challenge. Please pass this along to anyone you know who may want to compete. There are two cash grand prizes. The Person voted “Best Vocalist” will win $250 and the person voted “Most Entertaining” will also win $250! There will be other great prizes as well.
