The republicans in the house blocked the federal unemployment extension this afternoon 11-18-10.The democrats brought it up (fast track) which means it needed 2/3 or 67% votes to pass, the vote did get 62.6% votes though. It may come up again near yrs. end. I just wanted to post as soon as i found out , so my fellow unemployed can prepare for the end of euc08 ending the last 2 weeks of this month. Whenever the tier your in ends thats when euc08 will end for you.You will not move to your next tier unless it comes this month, even if you are in tier 1 . You may be eligible for eb though. This is only from information as i perceived it in ncesc site.
