Live in Huntersville, does anyone know where I can drop off cans of old house paints. Having living in Florida. There were places we went to drop off stuffs like that. Thanks!

If it is latex paint you might be able to flush it down your sink if you have city sewers. Check with the sewage authority. I would not dump it down a septic system.
In NJ we were allowed to flush latex down the city sewers.

if it's latex paint just take the lids off until it dries up, then throw it in the trash. not really a hazardous waste.

if it's oil-based just take it to one of the county recycling centers. call 311 to find the one closest to you...

Call 311 and ask them where is the nearest Hazardous Waste Center. I took old gas to the one on Steele Creek. Is free and they take anything that you dont throw away in your trash.

Or you can dispose of it the redneck way... Hammer down the lid. Put it in the car & throw it out the window at the first vacant lot without a streetlight...
