I've been trying to avoid this because it upsets me so much but I finally saw the video when I clicked on the link to the Southpark robbery story. I'm nauseated. What is happening to those morons? Was she suspended? Was he arrested? I've had friends and family from all over the US calling to ask me if that's the high school we're zoned for. Great.
The father should get fined and either jail time or community service. The daughter should be banned from all CMS sports for the rest of her time at CMS. But I am not the judge or jury so that probably won't happen.
As an African-American, this really disgusts me as there is another ignorant ***** who makes all us look bad as a people! When are we going to stop looking foolish to the rest of the world!

There are idiots & jerks in every group. No one should asssume that any idiot/jerk represents whatever group he or she fits into.

That's true, however, it does seem like there is more of a negative stigma or stereotype towards blacks than any other race, except maybe some Hispanic races, where it is expected of a lot of "us" to make a fool of ourselves, thus justifying a lot of the fears and hysteria that breeds racial hostility towards others, and it's unfortunate!
Agreed it's unfortunate prwfromnc, but get to a few high school (and even middle school) games around Charlotte and you'll want an anti-depressant. But I still want to know, what happened to them? What were their specific consequences? For this stiry to have been splashed across headlines around the country with no follow up seems odd.
