Last week a male high school teacher was taken from his classroom by the acting school principal and sent directly to the Ed Center. There he was met by someone from Human Resources and the CHIEF OF CMS SECURITY. He was told that he was being fired because they had evidence that he was dealing in child porno...........Only thing the geniuses at CMS had not taken a few minutes to find out that HAD THE WRONG MAN.. They were looking for a person with the same name and that was good enough for them....I hope he sues them for making such a stupid mistake...I know you will not see this in the news ..and yes this is something negative but it is true so please dont try to argue the issue with me...thanks

As a tax-payer, I never think CMS getting sued is a good thing.

Why does there have to be a lawsuit in the first place?

I think that those who made this blunder should either be fired or suffer a public reprimand and then be put on a probationary period of at least a year to make sure they don't commit some other stupid mistake.

But I don't seen any need for a lawsuit.

Agree.

They made a mistake. It happens. People are too sue-happy nowadays.

This mistake could affect his career no matter where he goes. This definitely warrants suing CMS IMO.

What a sad situation this teacher is having to go through because a few idiots didn't dot their I's and cross their T's.

The embarrassment and humiliation they've caused this teacher is probably out of this world.

I'm more surprised by the fact that it's possible to fire a union member for anything, including child porn.

This is probably the worst accusation that can ever be made against a public school teacher. It can wreck both his professional and personal life irrevocably. If the accusation was false and a result of negligence, than this teacher should find the best lawyer he can and sue for as much as he can get. I have a child in CMS, but no sympathy for Gorman's crew here.

Surely CMS' first step should've been to contact the police, and then they wouldn't have made the apalling blunder in the first place.

I wonder how the people that are saying the teacher shouldn't sue would feel if they had been the teacher.

I would sue the backside off them.
