Hello all - I have accepted a position with a company in Mooresville. I am a single female, late 20s, and I am looking to rent preferably in a complex. Other than huntersville, which areas offer a decent commute time (25 minutes or less) to Mooresville? Any apartment communities you can recommend would be greatly appreciated as well! Thanks!

Cornelius and Davidson, NC - should be less than 20 minutes. Also, there are apartment behind Concord Mills mall wouldn't be too far.

There are condos for rent on Northwest Dr (by Lake Norman and very easy access to I77) in Davidson for around $900.

What are you really looking for? Do you prefer to be closer to Charlotte? Personally, if I'm working in Mooresville and don't really care about living in Charlotte I would not live SOUTH of Mooresville just because of traffic on 77. I'd suggest just living right in Mooresville as there are plenty of options.

Now if your work is on the east side of 77 versus the west side of 77 could narrow it down even more.

I don't really care about being super close to Charlotte, but I also want to make sure I am within a decent drive of groceries, shopping, theaters etc. And I would prefer to be pretty close to some type of park or a track for jogging. I have gotten referred to Abberly Green and Waterlynn in Mooresville, are there any other apartments I should look into? Thanks for all the helpful responses!!

I lived in Carrington Park in Cornelius when they first built it. I liked living in Cornelius a lot (and I LOVED the layout and spaciousness of my apartment), but moved to Mooresville so I didn't have to deal with 77 traffic.
If I were to rent again, I'd honestly look into houses.

You could try Statesville too, but living right in Mooresville would give you an easy commute.
