We sure need this rain, hope I can open the windows for some fresh air this evening instead of the A/C.

If you means fresh swampy air, tonight will be great for you. Unfortunately non-swampy days and nights will be few and far between until when...late September?

Send it my way. It never rains here in Steele Creek; I swear we live in a rain shadow. We missed out on all of that rain yesterday and it has yet to rain here today either.

Yeah, it was really nice here for few a little while in South Charlotte. I did open the windows for almost a whole hour. They are closed now and the A/C is on. Thank God for the A/C

We've been sleeping with the A/C off and the windows open. Beautiful.

It was a very short nice break from the heat. We got a good bit of rain yesterday at the lake. Very welcome as my garden likes water like this. Unfortunately, it's back to the 100s by the weekend.

We never saw a drop. All of that mess just went around us and reformed, just like it always does. My plants are so disappointed!

I feel your pain coastalgirl. I can't tell you how many times my plants suffered from the lack of rain.

What rain would that be? Everything over here is brown and dying in small patches.

We could use a good drenching at night.
