New to Charlotte - how to find golf partners? (living, discounts)

Moved from San Francisco in August. Would love to find golfers (guys or gals) to join me for 9 holes or 18. I've been golfing sporadically all my life but now I'd like to actually focus on improving my game and establishing a handicap. I purchased a deal on LivingSocial for discounts at Old Sycamore...now I need a partner or two (or three). How do I find them?

Do something, Learn something, Share something, Change something - Meetup has free groups that you may join. I'm in a couple groups and have met great people.

Also, usually if you make a tee time at a course they will put you with 3 other people when you get there.

Yeah, I would just check at the golf course or talk to my neighbors. Also for golf deals check out click it golf (one word) dot com.

Matching up with strangers can be a mixed bag. I always seemed to get paired up with a wacko. Or maybe I was the wacko...

I found it difficult to find regular golf partners also so I created a website called findagolfer.com. You can join us for event to meet other golfers our search our database. Over 1500 golfers in NC!
