Last month I had a cold and I know a couple friend that had something similar..it lasted for 2 weeks, every couple days it seemed to be different, watery eyes, sore throat, cough, lost voice, kleenex, it never knocked me out or make me miss work but just dragged on...
Geez Ani............ you are falling apart lately.
Must be that old age creeping up, eh?
Seriously, what bad timing. I sure hope you can get over that quickly. Only one thing worse than a winter cold and that is when it is during the holidays.
I'm not one to run to the doc for every little thing but with the holidays so close, you may want to check on that.

I was afraid of that. My son had something nasty - I think I caught it from him. His fiancee got it after he was feeling better - seems there is about a week incubation from the time you are exposed. So I guess I have the same stuff he fought for two weeks.
My eyes have been watering so badly today! I am glad you mentioned that symptom - I thought I had gotten something in my eye. That seems to be a bit better tonite (watery eyes) but my fever is actually increasing since this afternoon.
I had to talk on the phone this evening and my voice kept breaking - the guy asked several times if my connection was bad, lol.

Do take care and get well soon.
TY RoadTraveler!
Yeah, must be my advancing age, lol. I will tell you, I feel about 10 years older today than I did last week this time! First the fall and now this . . . definitely feeling wobbly and haggard, lol!!!
I worry about going to the doc this time of year b/c you catch stuff while sitting in the waiting room! But if my fever gets really high or it seems more like pneumonia than bronchitis, I will definitely not mess around with that.
TY for the good wishes! I think the universe is telling me to slow down, enjoy some Christmas carols, a nice toddy or two, and be more of an observer than participant this year.
New Year's is just around the corner and I do love New Year's Eve. Gonna shoot for being 100% better by then.
I hope you feel better!! I fall ill about every 2 to 3 years , nonetheless I can imagine being ill over the holidays. Try TheraFlu , or something similar , and you should be fine. Good luck!!
Ani!!! We're going to have to put you in a bubble!! Be careful...I've heard to 2 people with symptoms as yours & they have pneumonia.Feel better soon!!

I guess I was too lucky last year. Didn't get sick all winter. So surprised this hit me at Christmas.
