Hopefully someone here can help. My neighbor wants to know which private schools have bus service. I have only seen the Cannon School bus in Highland Creek. Someone said the CCDS has buses but it may only go to certain parts of Charlotte. Does anyone have any idea what private schools have bus transportation? I don't know my child is in public school.

The Catholic schools have bus service, and I believe Charlotte Latin School does too. I do not think Country Day does, but you could check their website and maybe find out.

Default Bus to Charlotte Country Day School

Hi Washingtonian,

When my kids went to CCDS, they had a limited bus service and according to their web page still do. When my kids were there, the bus was pretty much limited to the Providence Road (Myers Park Eastover) area. Some parents drove their kids to the bus stop at Christ Church on Providence Road so that they wouldn't have to fight the traffic on Carmel Road to the Middle School. If you are hoping to find a CCDS bus in Highland Creek, you'll probably have to drive it yourself. However, it's not that hard to organize a carpool (as we did) from many parts of town. For me, the hardest part of transportation involving CCDS was when they had after school sport meets with Latin out on Providence Road. The traffic out there killed me.

I think Latin, Christian, Providence Day & Country Day all have bus service. But I think they have pick up locations (you know drive to X place & the bus will pick everyone up), but I'm not 100% certain.

I know this is true for Providence Day and Latin.

You can always call up the school you are interested in and ask.
