The grand opening is at 8AM tomorrow morning. Anybody going to attend? They may give out gift cards to those at the opening ceremony.
They should hand-out t-shirts that say "I'm so desperate that I had to come here on opening day just to make sure this Wal-Mart Supercenter was just like the other 3,000"
^speaking of jobs I am curious as to what happens to the old employees of the walmart on eastway?
do or did they just get transferred? I'm only asking because I keep hearing them say on the news that this new walmart has bought X amount of jobs to the east area? so I'm curious if any actually lost a job from the old walmart which I have been thinking all along is also the east area?

Says the store employs 400 people, 250 of which are brand new jobs, so at most 150 employees from the old store are now working at the new store (they could be coming from other stores as well). The new one is a supercenter and the old one was not, so there should be more jobs available, but I don't think it'd be 250 more...
Now the only thing this new store needs is a good strong labor union..
