I would love to be able to walk about in the city, but, would not do so on a regular basis. There are simply too many pedestrian injuries/deaths by vehicles here!! It seems as though the cars are determined to get rid of the pedestrians!
The most recent & tragic are the deaths of the two young boys that were walking with their father to go to daycare! Then, there were the pedestrians that were killed as they crossed the street (with the light) to get to work. Plus, many more. Nope. I will try to stay safe in my car, much as I hate it.
