Anyone have experience with Crump Rd park & ride? Safe? Adequate parking? Just bought a home in Bellingrath that is about 4.5 miles from park & ride via Gleneagles rd. Sounds like a decent commute option: ~10 minutes to park & ride plus 20 minutes on lynx to .15 miles from office. Drive is a little less than 30 minutes to parking garage, so not really saving much time driving. Train runs every 10 minutes during commute, so flexibility is good.

Yes, I think so. You take Sharon Road West to get there, but Lynx website lists park & ride address on Crump Road.

Crump is that new road that runs off of Westinghouse to the Lynx Station near Sharon Rd West (paralleling South Blvd)

I think it's fine during the day, but a bit isolated after dark. Be sure to walk with others

Thanks Loves. Nothing is going to turn me off of public transit faster than safety concerns. If I even have to think about this, I'll drive.

You're probably safer on the train than in any parking garage.
